Yesterday, two persons were hurt after a DSS agent allegedly fired at a guy in a market in Abuja’s Garki 2 neighbourhood.
According to what was learned, a woman summoned a DSS agent to confront a tailor she had given garments to after delaying the task for a while.
In the meantime, the FCT police headquarters stated that the area has returned to normal and that the weapons used in the conflict have been found.
The tailor attempted to flee to avoid being handled by the DSS agent, but while doing so, he was allegedly shot in the leg by the agent, who also allegedly shot a girl nearby.
In response, the other tailors in the market attacked the gunman and beat him up, along with the police outpost there after the police there helped the DSS agent.
Following a reinforcement, the cops went back to the market and used tear gas to scatter the irate tailors.
