BBNaija star, Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bambam, has criticized well-known American rapper Snoop Dogg over his recent publicity stunt to quit smoking.
Recall that Snoop Dogg, in a post on X last Thursday, revealed he would be giving up marijuana—or at least, smoking it.
His words: “After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”
However, Snoop recently revealed the real meaning behind his previous message in a video shared on X, stating it was all part of an advertisement.
He said, “I have an announcement. I’m givin’ up smoke.” “I know what you’re thinking: Snoop! Smoke is kind of your whole thing! But I’m done with it.”
Bambam expressed her displeasure with the rapper’s stunt in the comment section, saying that many addicts were inspired and happy about it.
She went on to imply that they would now be devastated by his antics.
She said, “So many addicts were motivated to quit cos of your announcement… imagine the heartbreak, be gentle with the hearts and minds of those you have influence, you’re accountable.”
