A final year student now identified as Emma aka Kesh was shot in broad day light by cultists in Abia State University (ABSU).
The horrific incident took place on Monday, March 11 and captured in a video which has since been shared on social media.
In the video, Emma is seen been chased down as he crawled with his last strength, in an attempt to escape from his attackers.
The victim, who wore a black shirt and black pants, had blood running down his face as he dragged himself through the untarred road. Despite his efforts, his attackers, also clad in all black, caught up to him.
One of the attackers filmed while the other, holding a gun shot him down when he tried to run.
As the attack was happening, students watched from their hostels and the street. Watch the video below.
The incident has created tension in Uturu, where ABSU is situated as a student reports that police arrived in their numbers following the killing.
According to reports, Emma was killed just one day to his graduation and the cold-blooded murder resulted from a clash between two cult groups.
