The International Organisation for Migration has successfully brought back 108 stranded Nigerians from Niger Republic.
This was disclosed in a post on the official X handle of the National Emergency Management Agency on Tuesday, October 24.
According to NEMA, the returnees consisted of 29 adult females, 32 adult males, 44 children, and three infants.
They were transported on a chartered flight with registration number TZ-SMA, provided by Sky Mali, and arrived at the Cargo Wing of Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Ikeja.
Agencies present to receive the returnees at the airport include the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons and Other Related Matters, the Refugee Commission, the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, NEMA, and the Police.
