The Actors Guild of Nigeria has suspended all movies involving riverine areas and boat riding across the country.
Emeka Rollas, the AGN President, also barred actors from featuring in any movie produced by Adamma Luke, who is the producer of the movie that Jr Pope was featured in before his untimely death.
Late Jnr Pope and four other crew members were riding on a boat while returning from a movie shoot when their boat capsized.
The actor and one other crew member identified as Friday have been confirmed dead. The bodies of three others are yet to be found.
