There was no sign of any gathering as of 10:30 am on Friday, October 20, at the Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos State, where youths were expected to gather and mark the third anniversary of the #EndSARS protest.
On Thursday, fliers were rolled out on social media, stating that a peaceful walk would be held at Lekki Toll Gate on Friday.
However, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Lagos State Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, stressed that no gathering or convergence of any kind would be permitted in the vicinity of the tollgate.
Our correspondent, who is currently at the scene, reports that there was no sign of gathering as of 10:30 am today, October 20.
