Man burns certificate, says having one in Nigeria waste of time.
A video showing a man identified as Olutimain Ilenre surfaced online on Monday, burning his Bachelor of Arts, secondary school, NYSC certificates, and UTME result paper.
The varsity graduate lamented that for the past 13 years, he has struggled for jobs with those without a certificate, adding that the certificate is not needed when one travels abroad.
“To get certificate in this country is like a waste of time,” he said.
In the video, he said it’s better to learn handwork with the current realities in the country.
