Nollywood veteran actor John Okafor, known as Mr Ibu, has requested financial help and prayers from Nigerians as he faces the risk of having his legs amputated.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, Mr Ibu expressed his exhaustion and financial strain from the hospital’s recent bill. He urged the public to come together and fly him abroad for better treatment.
Many Nollywood stars and content creators have reacted to the video, with comedian and skit maker Sabinus expressing his admiration for Mr Ibu and expressing gratitude for the money sent. Skit maker Emmanuel Ogonna Iwueke also expressed his heartache and urged the public to share their own thoughts on their platforms.
