Senate President Godswill Akpabio is among the heavy weights that have arrived Imo State for the second term inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodinma.
Governor Uzodinma won the governorship election which took place on November 11, 2023 in the state. He will be sworn in for his second term today, Monday, January 15, 2025.
Also among the dignitaries who have already landed in the state is Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State.
Others also spotted as they arrived Sam Mbakwe Airport, Owerri, include former Governor of Imo State, Ikedi Ohakim; Deputy Senate President, Barau.
