The Executive Governor of Anambra State and the National Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo CFR, on 21st April, 2024 held a critical meeting at the Governor’s lodge in Amawbia with Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, the National Chairman of the APGA, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, the Chairman of the Anambra State APGA, High Chief Barr. Ifeatu Obi-Okoye and the principal officers, including Secretary, Women Leader, and Youth Leaders of the 326 wards in Anambra State.
Governor Soludo, who was overjoyed to see the party’s principal State officers, commended them for their steadfast devotion to the party’s principles and their tireless efforts to further its expansion. He also reaffirmed that APGA, as the leading progressive party in Nigeria, views the welfare of its constituents as a top priority on the premise of its central tenet, “be your brothers’ and sisters’ keeper,” its motto.
The speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, the deputy governor of Anambra State, members of the State Executive Council, APGA members of the State House of Assembly, and numerous other party stakeholders graced the gathering.
Governor Soludo skillfully displayed a treasure trove of successes under his reign, a collection braided with architectural marvels, educational and healthcare triumphs, agricultural feats, and security fortresses, in a subtly humorous hint to APGA’s might in Anambra State. He declared that APGA is the only party in Nigeria that can accomplish such accomplishments, with no other party being able to match them.
The governor gave his reflections on the accomplishments of the APGA government in Anambra State, pointing out the outstanding records in a number of areas, such as Solution District Innovations, the ‘1 Youth 2 Skills’ initiatives, the hiring of over 5,000 teachers, with another 3,000 presently in the recruitment process, the completion of over 270 km of awarded road space, with additional asphalting work still in progress, the building of four new general hospitals, the hiring of over 1,000 medical professionals, and a host of other accomplishments.
On behalf of APGA, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa thanked Governor Soludo for organizing this crucial meeting and reaffirmed APGA’s unflinching support for the governor. The APGA National Chairman stressed that APGA is fast, and primarily among the youth, spreading like wildfire throughout the many states of Nigeria. He stated that the youths are in a position to take on leadership roles and spread the APGA message throughout the nation because of the APGA NEXT generation that he helped to start and launch.
Barr. Ezeokenwa promised that in the next 2025 gubernatorial elections, the party would triumph handily in all 326 wards of Anambra State.
This gathering not only reaffirms the power and cohesion of APGA, but it also establishes a clear course for triumph in the Anambra State governorship in 2025 and maintain growth and prosperity under APGA’s direction.
