The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has revealed that there are no registered voters in 38 polling units in Imo State and two in Bayelsa State.
Of the 2,419,922 registered voters for the November 11 governorship election in the state, only 2,318,919 permanent voter cards were collected. The affected 38 polling units are spread across 13 local government areas in the state.
In Imo State, there are 1,225 registered voters with varying disabilities, including albinism, autism, cognitive learning disability, blindness, deafness, physical impediment, and little stature.
In Bayelsa State, there are 1,056,862 registered voters, with 566,095 males and 490,707 females.
In Kogi State, there are 1,932,654 registered voters, but only 1,833,160 permanent voter cards were collected.
