The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, has stated that the Nigerian government has suspended the N-Power programme indefinitely due to holes inside the system.
The need to look into the financial mismanagement and the program’s participant count led to the suspension.
In addition, Edu disclosed that several participants who were scheduled to leave the programme last year are still claiming to be lecturers and claiming to be owed stipends.
