Some Worshippers and vigilantes were killed when terrorists attacked a mosque in Saya-Saya village, Ikara Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
It was reported that five people were killed during the shooting in the mosque while the other two victims were killed elsewhere in the neighbourhood.
Two people who were also shot were sent to the hospital for treatment, according to Dan Asabe, a villager.
According to residents who contacted with DailyTrust, the event took place about 8 o’clock while the locals were offering Isha’i (Sunset) prayers at a nearby mosque.
Dan Asabe, a local, claimed that two further villagers who had been shot were taken to the hospital immediately.
